Default driving vibration, what could it be?

on my 95 civic, i'm getting some light vibration from low speed, and noticeable vibration during 65-80 speed range. tires ARE NEW and wheels are fully balanced, and i was told it could be either my axles or inner joint?

all the boots looks fine, no rip or tear. i'm not hearing any ticking sounds from some peopel suggested as axles going bad... any tips and suggestions are welcome, thanks

On my daughter's civic she had a low speed vibration and it was bad bearings in the driver's side rear hub.

can be transaxle bearings, are you leaking tranny fluid.....my axle actually wobbled out once as a cause of the transaxle bearing giving at 90mph....if the car is in the air....can u wobble the tires, if so check your control and tie rod arms, if not it's you wheel/ hub bearing

it could also be tires, i went through 6 months of searching for the culprit of my vibrations and i replaced almost everything in my front end and come to find out that it was bad tires....they wer balanced and all the tires were just trash.

I have the same problem. I took my car to have the wheels balanced and the tech pointed out my bumpy tire. He said the culprit for the bumps was bad struts. So its possible you need new struts. I just got Tokiko illuminas so I'll be a test dummy. I'm no expert though. Good luck!!

my vote is with a flat spotted, or blistered tire.

the fact that you feel it at low speed, and at high speed means its a rotational issue, and right around 65-70 is the the right frequency for natural response at the wheels.

When driving around 70mph, see if the vibration changes or goes away when you close the throttle, vs. when you're on the gas. If it goes away, it's an inner CV joint. Those do not click when they go bad (as the outer joints do), they make a really nasty vibration under load.
