Default Small EJ1 Build Part 1: Take the D16z6 out, clean bay(kinda), insert B16a2. (56k-no)

As the title states, got tired of the D16z6 so...

The stock motor ran great, but not the most fun in the world. It's for sale by the way, complete swap minus the P28. Make offers if interested.

I had the swap from my friends EM1 so I'll just put it in.

The bay was very dirty with that damn single cam in there.

Negro Modelo and tune ups go well together.

Local guy that I buy 7.3 International clutches from sourced me a 6 puck sprung and 12lb flywheel for $400

Nasty bay.

A little better.

B16a2 in place

Done with a little theft deterrant

Alarm system

That's it guys. Overall the car runs great, I also did the following things:

-Brake booster, brand new prop valve, 1" Integra master cylinder, Russell stainless line kit, rear disk swap, brand new front rotor, new front loaded calipers, cobalt rear pads, Blox rear LCA's, Blox Intake, Kenjii ECU, blah blah............

Comments welcomed

I used stuff called purple power, knockoff of Castrol Super Clean, sprayed it in the bay along with Engine Brite, let it sit for about 5 min., rinse it off and repeat.

Not perfect but it is alot better.

yea, i finished my B swap, then about a month later, up'd the stakes and went with a K swap....and that got stolen about 3 1/2 months after i got it done. but the car was recovered and i got some of the stuff back and now is in the rebuild process yet again. this time tho, i started off with a similar, but black, solid 61lb Alarm System just like you, and a .45

I read your thread you sent, that is crazy! I'm glad you atleast whooped their ***. I hear ya' with the 61lb alarm and the .45 they usually do the trick.
