just got my swap off a 94 gsr and it's a lot easier to just replace the entire arm! Also just a suggestion but i'd recomend si ebrake cables instead of teg's because of length. other than that its bolt on cake man!

I'd do the whole thing, I think it's easier.

its pretty straight forward, just remove teh stock ones and replcae with new. be sure to bleed the brakes when youre done.

Remove the old ones, put the new ones on. There might be a shim that holds the line connection to a bracket. It's straightforward as said previously.

You can also swap the spindle out in the rear, which might be an ideal option if you think the donor trailing arms you bought are bent.

What do you guys do to keep brake fluid from pouring all over the place once the caliper is off?

Use a plug of some kind. I use a small rubber hose and plug the other end of it.

For an EK right? Just go with the 99-00 Si MC, the BB is the same so you don't need to replace it.

What, the Si MC? Depends on if you want a new or used one and where you buy it.
