civic hatch engine harness question please help!

Default civic hatch engine harness question please help!

i have a 92 hatch dx hatch will a d16 engine harness plug right into it?

aslong as it came from a 92-95 civic. also its very probable that the 93-95 del sol , and 94-95 integra harness will plug in as well.

any tips on how to wire the vtec the easiest if i have the d16 harness do i have to cut the wires from the vtec solenoid and wire them to the ecu?

I you have an ex or si wire harness from a 92-95 civic then your 4 wire o2 sensor and vtec are plug and play. The vtec is already pre-wired to your shock mount harness from the car.

You shouldn't have to cut anything or run new wires for anything as lond as you have a 92 civic. that is the only year they were pre-wired.

I think you have to add one wire to the cabin harness for the ecu pinout, but read the instructions on that page I linked. Other than that, it's completely plug + play, right on the shock tower.
