and when you buy the tires, it comes with the air tube inside of it too if you are to have them install it right?

Automotive tires usually don't have tubes.

so your new to the whole car thing i see, no there not like bike tires the only tires that need tubes now are some slicks if people choose to run them. the air is put into a valve and the tire just seats on the rim no tube needed.

I think he's referring to the valve stems when he talks about "tubes".

Yes, $10-20 per wheel/tire is typical.

I've found that mounting and balancing services at the tire department at Wal-Mart are reasonably priced and their people are usually well-trained. (I've noticed this of Wal-Marts in small towns as well as the suburbs of big cities.)

I've heard that Costco and Sam's Club mounting and balancing is reasonably priced, too, but the ones around me only mount and balance tires that are purchased there. Wal-Mart doesn't care whether you bought them there or not.

Got mine done there. It's been about a year and a half and about 70 000km and only one has developed a slow leak (20 yr old rims). Tires are worn out, the mounting lasted the life of the tire. They also did my winter tires. I just put those on after about 7 months of sitting in the garage, they were only down about 4lbs. I can't complain about their work.

Cheers!
