I kept breaking axles and gearbox even using DSS stage 5's. IMO you gotta load that clutch just a little bit man, someone correct me if im wrong. Use your line lock and try to engage it just a bit. If you are dropping your clutch with big slicks there aint anything gonna stop breakage.

you also have gator axels dont know much about thier product.

then thiers markwilliams, he sets the standard as far as i am concernd but your gunna pay 5k for it. it comes with tranny, brakes, hubs, everything. dont know what gear setup is in it but it must be good, & fully consome i would assume.

DSS makes a very good product, you can ask around, and most of the people that run decent times count on DSS. I know that Courtney has had good luck with the Gator's but from what I understand those are the older 300M axles, and he was having a problem getting the materials in.

As for the Mark Williams Nitro stuff, It comes with axles, intermediate shaft, brake setup, new spindles, and a spool, it does not come with the tranny.

Line lock or e-brake just prevents the car from rolling when you load the clutch.

I am a happy Pro-FWD Rob Moore customer

Considering the power we are making, we have never had problems with Rob Moore's stuff. (knock-on-wood)

We are using the new DSS setup with our CRX and K-series..... not problems even with sidestepping. Frank or Lee over there can help you out. We needed custom lengths as we were not using Hasport mounts... etc.

I am very happy with the product and support !

Yeah personally I am using the old version stage 5 DSS and it has stood up pretty well. Even though I am seeing the splines beggining to twist I know the end is near. It lasted a season which is quite an acccomplishment using 28" slicks.

Thumbs up for the Rob Moore axles, best customer service out of all the other high end companies that were mentioned, and also one of the most helpful people around. Although his set up is on the pricy side it does come with a race spool, axles, intermediate shaft, uprights with brakes and calipers. If you're seriously interested in his set up e-mail me. I just spoke with him today and he is currently backed up so if you're interested in a custom order set up it might take a little while but he'll stand by his products.

Kartek off road! made them for GM, Saturn, steph, Shawn Carlson, etc. We have the honda set up. Consists of porshe joints or he can make just the axles.
p.s. the guy Roy is a dick. good luck
