Default Someone stole my head-unit/console. What do I need to replace?

Last night someone crowbared open one of my doors and dented a quarter panel in the process. The head-unit and console piece that holds it in were stolen. Do i need to order a new one from Acura or can I get an install kit from a stereo shop? I'm talking about the little pocket below the CD player that holds the HU in place. Luckily I have a spare Kenwood HU.

They were too stupid to take the ITR seats/steeering wheel, CTR shift **** or anything valuable. Amateur thieves really, they crow-bared open a door and ruined a quarter panel just to steal an Alpine HU and some CDs and other misc. stuff. The cops didn't even care. Oh well, no worries, I have a spare HU that's way nice, just an inconvenience really. Thanks for your sympathy.

No Problem Man, Looks Like You Got About As Lucky As Possible, Do You Have A Security System? At Least You Now Know That You Are Not Secure Enough For Even Amateur's. Take This As A Blessing!

Yeah I have a Crappy Clifford system but I cut the wires to it because it bugged me so much. I usually park my car in a top secret spot, but I was drinkin at a buddy's and left it in a kinda ghetto part of a nearby town. I don't intend to buy an alarm, if someone wants my LS motor or my meshies, or my entire car, they can have it. Full coverage FTW

same thing happened to me, except it was broad daylight at the busiest mall in maryland and someone knew how to use a slim jim. for me, i didnt care too much i just bought another head unit and slipped it in the big empty space in the center console. however, you can get a universal install kit at your local wal-mart, believe it or not.

F'ing amatures...
The good is that they only left with your stereo. The bad of course is crowbaring the door! Some chumps pryed my door open too only to steal my sunglasses and skateboard.

Yeah the replacement part from Acura is like $65 and best buy is about $20. The plastic of course looks a little off but if that doesn't bother you then it's perfect.

Wrong, dipshit. I've studied Buddhism and stealing **** would lead to my car getting broken into. That's how karma works FYI. Are you still butt-hurt that I owned you in the 18s thread? Refer to sig for proof.

i'd rather go to a junkyard/recycler and pull an oem one.. i had best buy install a head unit and crap console after getting ripped off.. that console makes my deck stick out too far... the ones at best buy are cheap... but if you don't care then i guess it doesn't matter.. just my opinion..

If I knew of any junkyards around here w/ unmolested Tegs sitting around, I'b be all over them like white on rice. I'll keep my eyes open for an OEM one though, thanks.

HAHAHAHA

Thats your definition of "owning" someone?

Get a life.

And karma is karma.. it means if you do bad things, bad things will happen to you. Not necessarily mean that if you do a specific bad thing, that specific bad thing will happen to you. I think you need to study some more.

Wiki:

"Karma (Sanskrit: कर्म from the root kṛ, "to do", [meaning deed] meaning action, effect, destiny) means "(the result of) action", generally taken as a term that comprises the entire cycle of cause and effect. Karma is a sum of all that an individual has done, is currently doing and will do."

Own that.

I saw and reported your original post that said "**** you" and then you ran to wiki and edited that definition in. Good job looking up karma on google. *golf-clap*. Looks like you are missing a % point there btw.

You have completely misinterpreted that anyway, karma has direct specific results. Having something stolen from me would be bad karma for stealing something, possibly in a past life. The Old Testament also refers to this concept, (an eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth). Not an eye for a tooth. That concept also present in Ancient Sumer and the code of Hammurabi. Basically, I wouldn't have my car broken into for talking smack on H-T, especially not to idiots like you who rock 18s on their Teg.

I've studied Tibetan Buddhism for years and I wonder how much of an education you really have. The bad grammar in the bolded sentence and your struggle to decipher that article leads me wonder that. Honestly, follow me around H-T and talk **** for owning you in another thread. I'm actually somewhat flattered I have an e-stalker.

Keep dreamin' there bud...

And i dont have 18's... i have 15" slips.

And my mistake, i didnt know you were such a religous person...

and i wrote that bolded sentence before i looked up the defintion.. i knew i was right. And your still wrong about the karma thing. If you cant read it says the SUM of the bad things you have done. And i was just making a point. I think its hilarious that you think you "owned" me because you said some bullshit to me in a thread. Your a punk, and i bet you get off to talking **** to people on this forum. It just shows how much of a puss you really are.
