NO spark when turning car on
My car suddenly wont start. I dont here any spark when
I try to turn the car on. It was working fine but just stopped
turning on. Maybe the fuse needs work? If anyone knows
what I can do please inform me. I dont know much about
electrical parts to cars so detailed descriptions will help.
Thanks.

You dont hear any spark? lmfao Pull the plug out put it in the plug wire and touch it against the metal where it goes into the motor and have someone try and crank the car. You will see a spark or you wont. You cant just hear if its working or not.

I'm curious to know what the expletive he's talking about as well. I can't hear sparks either. well not from the driver's seat anyway.
I think he means he can't hear his engine turn over (nothing's happening).
Check the grounds to the starter motor first.
(If that's even what you're saying).
Is the motor turning over (cranking...making that sound it makes when you start it? Or is it just sitting there, dead?)
Did you leave your lights on by mistake? Is it slowly cranking over? Maybe the battery's weak.
We need more info. You can start by telling us specifically what is wrong. If it's any consolation I can't hear my sparks when I try to start my car either...but it still starts.

My car starts to crank but then it wont start all the way. I can hear that sound when you first
turn your car on but nothing happens after that. I tried the touch metal method but nothing
happens. So I'm wondering if it has to do with my fuse box?
My car was workin fine but then one day it had this problem.

Sounds like my recent problem. I replaced my dizzy with another used dizzy and the car started right up. So obviously something in the dizzy went out, not sure what makes up the guts of it but my civic (94 EX) only has 70k miles. Good luck!

It probably wasnt your dizzy. It was your ignition coil. They go out all the time. Just because your radio and **** works does not mean your motor has enough power to crank. If you have a multimeter then check the voltage on your battery. I would guess since you have no spark its your ignition coil. You can get a used one off of ebay for like $40.

PLEASE check your grounds as previously suggested...
I just had something similar happen and missed a rusted/frayed/beautifully corroded ground.
By the time I figured out the problem, I had to go back in and fix the stuff that I messed up while trying to fix the original problem.
Learning by experience is fun but inefficient.

follow the intructions, it will help you find out where you lost spark.

Would the main relay going out prevent spark, not sure. But, this is an easy one to check look at the under hood fuse box and check the red fuses to see if they all have the metal bridge inside. Always look for simple things and then try some tests before throwing money at a problem. As I have many times in the past. If you haven't and you can then you should check the battery with a volt meter. How are you sure its not the coil just wondering?
ok everyone thanks for trying but none of you were right.
like i said before i changed the ignition wires, cap n rotor, distributer cap
and spark plugs. THIS DID NOT SOLVE THE PROBLEM.
I just decided to put my car to a shop and they said my engine was dirty
so there was no combustion going to start up the car. So they cleaned the
engine, changed the oil and that was it. good luck to anyone who has
this same problem.

lol, they cleaned the engine? this happened to my integra, all i did was open up the distributor and change the coil, put it back in the car and it turned on, on the first try
actually my car's engine was really dirty cuz my intake filter was really old and dirty so dirt was going in my intake into the engine. even when i changed the spark plugs, they were wet and had dirt build up. he did a system flush, clean the intake and i think thats it. i did it at a frends shop.
