What are your eventual plans with the motor? Obviously the H22 is going to have the most power (out of the box), but it is slightly more difficult to swap in. The differences between the GSR and the B16 are not too noticable. Also, why not go with a B16a2? It is OBD2 already which your car is also.

Also, do you plan to stay all motor or FI? Give us some more info about plans and your car. Also, you should at least do a poll so that the results are easier see.

thanks, iam planing on running all motor. no major mods, just upgrade cams/cam gears and 4-1 header. still want the power steering and a/c

yea im thinking about a gsr motor. i have heard that the h22 motor is harder to repair and is harder to drop in just like what you said. i want to go with obd1 because incase i want to upgrade in the future.

thanks

obviously your going to go with the H22 becuase that is the best motor out of the three. go with the H because that has the great potential with lesser mods and you can also throw on a set of pistons with the compliment of the cams and gears and tune on OBD 1 and will get amazing gains.

If you want the easiest with the least parts to purchase go with an obdII b series motor.. You can always convert to OBDI after you complete the swap... For the h22 you are going to have to cut a hole in the bottom of your car for the shift linkage and bracket....

There is quite a big difference between the b16 and the b18... Depends on your budget though... A b18c1 is normally about twice as much...

yeah i know it will cost about 3500 for a b18c and about 1200 for a b16a. im deciding to get the gsr motor because the bolt-on respone is really good with a b18. plus i can put typer internal mods in the future when i have more $$$.

should i purchase the motor right now and work on it over the winter. like the header, plugs, wires, injectors, fuel rail, ect... mini mods
