OEM ITR Floor Mats I have never seen before!
Sup HT's
I only spent $$$ for the floor mats and trunk mat! Here's the story I called the person on Craig list (great site for stuff) because I noticed a post just for the trunk mat, asked him if he had anything else for sell and he said yeah, he had some 4 year old floor mats that were brand new beside the slightly used trunk mat, I asked if they were the checkered one, and he said yes! Great I said I'll give him $200 for everything he agrees. We did a quick meet up and grab the item because I was running late to attend the Greg Laurie’s Harvest event. When I finally got home to check out the floors mats they were way different from the 2000 checkered ones with the non rubber spike materials on the bottom and the pedal dark gray area. He even gave me the OG box they came in from Canada!?! So does anyone have information about these OEM mats? Are they limited? Rare? FAKE!?!
The trunk mat was all good with the rubber spikes and all. THANKS ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT!

those are factory honda mats for the canadian market...i had a couple sets before myself. the unique thing about them is the padded foot area beneath the pedals...only canadians got those. i dont know though, its practical to have the padded foot pad for added wear protection, but i prefer the cleaner look without the pad which is why i eventually sold mine. but its still a great deal at $200 for brand-new with the trunk mat

but if you drive your R frequently, especially with the floors mat in place, you can have it there, and then later on down the line when the padded parts begins to wear, you can prolly remove it and under that spot would prolly be brand new. so it could in a way, double the life of the mat. but im cheap and that is a very frugal method of thinking i guess.

it is not a removable pad like what you are assuming...it is part of the mat itself. you wear that out just like any other mat and thats it. it is not an afterthought that honda decided to stick on...it is sewn into and part of the rubber lining, NO checkered mat underneath.
i wish my R had mats like that with a post in the floor to hold the mats in place....... i hate how mine walk around on me, even with the rubber spikes
