Default Brembo Blanks or AutoZone/Kragen rotors?

I bought Hawk HPS pads, and I want new rotors. Will brembo blanks increase stopping power against cheap rotors at like autozone/kragen? Will the brembo rotors last longer?

i dont belive you would get better braking, however i do belive that the brembos will be more resistant to warpage and corrosion than autozone rotors.

both make good blanks. but the autozone ones (aimco/duralast) are significantly cheaper. got mine for ~$26 a pop. remember to stay away from valuecrap (valuecraft $15s each) rotors.

autozone ftw......plus they got a 2yr warranty, swap them before your warranty is over, and you can have new rotors before every 2 years

There has been alot of discussion about this, and I think the conclusion to it all was that while brembo is the reliable, known brand, the autozone blanks are not bad either. The price difference alone makes some go with autozone. I think the brembos are better quality, and least likely to warp. Also, I think the brembos are thicker, and can be turned, while the autozones are not as easily, if at all, able to be turned. Just what I remember reading.

FYI: my brembos rust like mo fo's....about twice as much as stock. I've got them front and back. No warpage. Using them with OEM pads so I cant complain.</TD></TR></TABLE> I think most any will rust. I sprayed mine ( the non-contact areas) with some Rust Converter to turn it black. They are now sorta black rust...

No warpage. Running Axxis Ultimates up front for 2+yrs.
No warpage/great bite.

Got mine at NOPI of all places.
They come with the new screws and bedding instructions and you support the Old Country.
