Default rotor removal

ok guys i never reall worked on accord dizzys. and i can't seem to find a way of removing the rotor. the dizzy cap is off and now there is a pretections cover and i can't take it off. whats is the trick. also if i have a dizzy for a 90 accord with internal coil can i interchange parts with an external coil dizzy.thank alot

oh and how do i know if its obd1 or obd0. and its a 90ex from japan does that change anything? i am kinda confused. thanks

ok i got it appart i though it was a screw on type like civic/integra. now is the igniter the same with both dizzys? thanks

follow the ignition/ignitor control module post near the top of this page, it states that all or most of the ICM are the same, they must look the same of course.

you can always go onto HAP or SLHonda and look up the two parts and compair the numbers to see if they are the same.

I've also called the parts counter at the local dealer and asked them to check if parts from one model were the same as another model. Could do that as well.
