get the type-S, it has a better motor (40+ hp from base), better tranny (6-speed close-ratio), stiffer sport-tuned suspension, better brakes, 6 Disc In-dash CD changer, subwoofer, nicer 17 inch wheels......lol you want me to continue?

P.S. alot more options in aftermarket parts...

WTF....shutup. He didnt ask what motor to buy.

Why is it that people see a thread about a motor and they automatically come in, dont read the question asked and post up buy this motor blah blah blah.......

READ THE DAMN QUESTION ASKED

This guy is probably going to buy a motor but wants to make sure he isnt getting screwed over. So he wants to make sure he is buying what He thinks it is. Thats why people are telling him to check the block code.

are you saying the k20a2 has a plastic intake manifold?

The K20A3 uses plastic dual length intake runners similar to the GSR</TD></TR></TABLE>

The K20A2 Type S (Integra) and Civic Si share the same intake design with 42mm by 210mm runners and a 62 mm throttle body. Completely aluminum this manifold heats the incoming air by contact with a metal gasket to the head and by transmitting heat from the hot radiator air.</TD></TR></TABLE>
