how to recondition the factory finish on stock ITR wheels
Just thinking of getting the wheels redone scince they are a bit scratched up and dull (carwashes) what method would yeild the best result?
Or maybe some wild paint or polish, but I know I'm limited due to the PY color of the car?
What ideas has everyone come up with?
PS tried compound and wax-> little better, and as for the touch up paint can't get anything close enough...

They're painted. I washed and waxed the heck out of mine and they looked great... for a while. Eventually, they just get dirty, again. I love the look of the white wheels, but the upkeep is a killer.
As far as chips and scratches go, ultimately, they'll ned to be filled in and repainted. I know my paint code (NH-0 = Championship White goodness) but the Gunmetal is a mystery to me.

I wax the wheel everytime I wax my car and my wheels look like new!
Waxing them also make the wheels a bit less likely to be scratched!

Your best bet is to get them re-powdercoated. They can re powder it and put a light shiny powder on it and it wont chip unless you hit a big *** rock or curb.

I got mine re-powder coated last year, I payed $40 each plus $150 for 5lbs color matched powder, they had some color that looked alike but were not quite there. All the wheels were coated and I still have ~4lbs left. Look for a machine shop that does powder coating they are way cheaper, if you go to a wheel repair shop they will charge you ~$125 per wheel.
