my distributor on my LS blew the expletive up (doesn't work), will one from a GSR work?

pretty sure it's all different... i replaced my dis. cap and rotor recently, and they accidentely gave me the civic si (b16) dis. cap and rotor. the bolts didn't line up, and it was a bit smaller.
