When i am ordering a clutch should i go by torque rating or the HP rating? Or both? Cuz XTD stage 2 clutch is full disc and stage 3 is 6 puck and my car is goin to be daliy driven turbo on 8 psi

 

get the stage 3. it grips soooooo niice and ive had it fr about 3k miles. it better than exedys i my opinion, it grabs much harder. and for the price xtd's cannot be beat, theyre simpy amazing

 

does the stage 3 engage smoothly or is there chattering when trying to take off?

 

Dont get Stg. 2 I got the full disc and I broke it in properly.. It grabs okay but anytime you slip the clutch a little more than normal when starting out or starting while on a hill- It wont slip and rev up but you can smell it burning. I hate mine. I wish I would have gotten the stage 3

yea why is that the xtd stage 2 sucks but the xtd stage 3 is great.i had the xtd stage 3 on my eg and it grabs hard every gear(2000 miles)and my bro got the stage 2 and its slipping (xtr) though 4000miles

 

get the stage III not hard to drive on a everyday driver, plus grabs real nice. this clutch is pretty under-rated. which in a way is good for us that we can get a good clutch for cheap.

 

So stage 3 it is.

no chatter with the stage 3.
