Legal to have a b20 swap ?
As the title states, I've read that you can't have a truck motor swapped into a compact car. Yet I still see many people swap in B20's . So my question is - Is it really legal to have the swap ?
in cali i def know you cant do it, but out here in CT and Ri you can, no probs, there is a dude with a nasty b20vtec EJ over here and a another dude with a k20R EM1 and they are both legally registered, pretty much as long as it still says honda on the motor, and its in a honda, they wont get you out here.

nope it isnt legal. Considering that its almost identical to the b18b, but since I guess the CRV is considered a "truck"?

Ooh. k thanks. My friend recently told me it is and I argued it wasn't . He argued he pass smog check somehow. And I still dunno how he did it. But we'll be going ref monday to ask the ref lol.
