B20 swaps suck. Expensive to excecute correctly,
Buy a b18c, and keep reading H-t.

Re: crv swap??????????????????/ (Chad)
Okay ****-blisters. I have spent damn near 7k on my motor, so don't give me that ****. But i've also built a b20 swap for a local kid, and the car was very dissapointing.
B20vtec is great, it's fast. But the ******* post wasn't about a b20 vtec **** face! So, i'll agree, a b20 vtec can be done cheaper than an ITR, but trying to piece a b20 together with transmission, nice clutch, etc, all those parts ar every expensive. Believe me, you can spend well over $1500 in complementary parts beyond motor, transmission, ecu, especially if you have to buy all new bolts, brackets, midshaft, linkage, axles, etc.
So don't **** with me, i **** back.

Re: crv swap??????????????????/ (Plan B)
i would put a b20 NON VTEC in my car over....
b16
b18b
b18c1
why?
b20 800
b16 tranny 700
mounts 400
ecu 75
or chipped ecu 200 (i would do this)
axels 150
shift linkage 150
b18b intake manifold 75
so for 2500 you have a swap that will destroy a b16, b18 and mostlikely be side by side with the gsr swap at 110 in cars that are alike!.....and where do you do 110 on the street....and you aren't going to be doing 100 at the track....mostlikely will be at 95 in the quarter...
and you are still reving the engine to 6500....
but hey....that's just my opinioin....
