Ok, I went tonight and spent $25 to get into the hot import nights show at the Louisiana Superdome. There were some cool cars there, but MANY were a stock *** Civic with some stick on graphics, strobes and gay *** taillights. EVERYWHERE I looked was some advertisment booth with a demo car that was kinda cool, but they aren't even being judged. Here in New Orleans, very few imports are FAST so to speak, the street races are packed with riced out pieces of ****. Were they so hard up for cars thay even had a Corvette, A Lightning pickup and a damn Dodge Avenger? The few that were inpressive were VERY impressive. And the sad part is, 7 of the 12 or so cool cars I can go see in plain daylight at a local shop anytime I want. I know I'm just bitching, but I expected a little more for the money I paid. I sure hope this show is a little better if it comes to your town, and if it hasn't yet, think twice before you throw down the $25 to have Valvoline and Royal Purple shoved down your throat.
