whats up guys.. i just got a set of civic foglights for cheap.. oem stanley for 50 bucks.. the thing is.. i dont have a harness or switch... just the wires that come off the foglight.. soo my question is... how should i hook them up? should i just put them to my parking lights? so whenever my parking lights are on my foglights are on? or should i go buy a switch? also.. im not all that good with switches and wiring... soo how would i wire this up? ill be putting this all in tomorrow.. i need help fast.

also..should i get yellow bulbs or paint the lense yellow?

i am gonna do a foglight re-setup as i bought my car with no foglights(but the foglight cut outswhere alredy done)i am fOr sure gonna favorite this.

try contacting the dealer if you haven't already.

 

i would def buy the harness cause youll need the relay for longevity. but connected to your fog lights is the ground and the female plug right?

bro people r gonna call u cheap... just buy the right harnes...

but if u wanna go the getto way be sure u know how to do it...

1--Get a switch and enough wire from radio shack
2--Mount the switch anywere in the dashboard
3--The ground from the fogs goes to the chasi
4--Run a wire from any 12v to the switch and from the switch to the fogs

alright soo now i have the stock switch.. and the foglights... all theses parts are OEM honda.. soo how would i go about wiring this up? i have a red green. a red black. and a black i belive... which one is the constant and which one is the foglights? also.. would both foglights go to the same wire? how would this go? thanks for the input everyone

You can always buy a universal foglight wiring harness kit (range from $10 on up). However, you won't be able to use the stock switch with it, unless you do some custom wiring (which is the tricky part).

Just trying to give you an idea.
