truthfully how long does a auto to manuel conversitoin actually take??
If you have all the right parts and tools, you can do it in maybe 4 hours. Mine took about 10 because of tools and i didnt have all the right parts. Plus, take out the damn engine. i learned the hard way.

It can range around, depends on A) How many people you have working on the car, B) Knowledge of doing the auto>manual swap, and C) Dedication - how badly they/he wants to get the car rollin.
You can usually pump it out in 2 or 3 hours if you're working with another guy. Just g2 start at diff ends, like one start installing the clutch or pedal assembly while the other drops the engine and unbolts the trans (I find it easier to just let passenger side mount down and lower half the engine and pull the trans off than to take the entire engine out, some don't recommend that as you're putting too much stress on the driver's side, but if you have it supported, you'll be fine).
I heard from somebody here on H-T that the world's fastest engine swap was performed in ~30 minutes. Not sure how much truth there is to that, but point is quite simple, if all goes well (no problems), everybody's (even if just one) determined, and everybody knows what they're doing it'll get done fast, if you find urself bullshittin and taking beer breaks every 20 minutes, **** doesn't get done.
IMO working on seperate sides is the best, **** gets done fast.
EDIT:
Don't flame about the engine swap time thing. It's just something I heard from a fellow H-T member, I don't know the credability of it nor did I read it myself.
