intercooler piping touching downpipe.
hey everyone just wanted to make sure its ok if the intercooler piping touching the downpipe is ok, or if it affects anything? thanks again
this will lead to heating up your intake air temp which will lead to less hp and ealier detonation if it gets too hot, it will also rattle like a bitch
its an a/c setup, so the intercooler piping passes under the downpipe. but in my case the moron who made my downpipe didnt pull it close enough to the block so it is in the way of the intercooler piping route so i just pushed it up against the dp to make it fit.
Can anyone else confirm this? thanks again

i would love to change it, if you would pay the money to fix whats wrong with it, since i already payed for the manifold and downpipe to fit like ****
Anyways What if i heatwrap the DP?

theres always ways around it.. if you're using aftermarket fans, you radiator may have some brackets that could be trimmed, you maybe able to extend the pipe or change the direction of one of the pipes a bit. i'm dealing with same issue. radiator vs a/c line vs IC pipng vs DP all in same spot. but some cutting and adjustements none of them touch but i still have very little clearance.
i had the same problem with my integra..didnt really transfer that much heat but then again its not good...be on the safe side and get that downpipe redone and make it closer to the block
