leaking cam angle sensor on ZC
so my exhaust cam angle sensor is leaking. i am thinking about using some hondabond to seal it up. is there any ill effects from doing this?
should i just replace a seal or is it still gonna leak???
i really don't care what i have to do to make it stop leaking. looks is the very last thing i worry about on this car...
thanks.

i see two o-rings on my sensor (one on the rotating "sensor" and one closer to the "housing"), so let me take a pic tonight to see which one to change.
thanks.

Just my 2 cents worth but since you have it apart already replace them both. They shouldn't cost that much. I tend to do things that way. always replace gaskets and seals when I work on anything.

do you guys know where the 2 seals are located on this site? i tried looking under every part type and couldn't find the cam angle sensor listed anywhere...

note: i selected the 90 teg in order to get the parts images to work...
thanks.

The cam angle sensor on the 90 teg is built into the dizzy. That is why you can't find it. Your best bet may be to call or run by a local acura dealership. Shipping will eat you up on small parts like that. By the way the o ring closest to the sensor is the same part# as the distributor o ring for the CRX/Civic.
its just tough for me to get time out of work to go to the dealer which i know won't have the parts in stock and will need to order them. i think i might have to bring the sensor with me so they know what the hell i am talking about (b/c i know they won't over the phone!).
thanks for the info dude. i'll probably just try to swing by the dealership sometime this week.
