rocker arm question HELP

Default rocker arm question HELP

im re-building my head and i was wondering what metal the whole rocker arm ***. is made of and if its ok to soak it in dish soap and water to clean it

Should be aluminum. Last i heard, Honda builds their heads with aluminum. It should be safe to dissolve in dish soap, just be careful not to use solvents that will corrode any parts.

if you can get it get autoglym engine and motorcycle cleaner

great stuff, NOT solvent based at all, smells nice and cleans extremely well.

just spray on, let the soack for 2/3 mins then wash in water and they look brand new :D

same with the head inside, spray in, soack and wash, takes all oil stains etc off and made it look brand new again :D (obiously when its off the car )
