Default should i but this bike.

ok so here is the deal. I am looking at an 06 sv650s with 980miles on it and the dealership wants $5999 and thats not out the door. i think that is a bit high. I have a trade in and that will go to the new bike. what do yall think? is it a good deal or not. I ask if they would do $5500 otd but they said not all they can do is a max of 300 off. what should i do. here is the bike

Can you find a private seller? Dealerships usually burn the customer on used inventory. If its something you really want, go for it.

Whats the Blue Book retail on those?

i know i can find it cheaper but, the problem that i am having is that i still owe money on my bike an i don't want to try to sell in myself if i can get around that. i live in austin tx and i can't find but a few for sale that are used and there all pre 2003.

If you can live with yourself for paying a little more for less hassle then do it.

That's only $500 off MSRP for a 2007. "Average retail" on NADA is $5560 so I'd say they're trying to hose you.

Why not just keep your bike until you pay it off?
