my brake light come on???
well like the title says my brake line come on when im driving??wtf.. my e-brake is down and when im cruising the brake light goes on for like a minute then goes off and does it again like every 5 minutes. i know its not that big a deal but it is very annoying. could something be loose??
i work all day so i thought id ask people here to see what they thought would be the problem before i jack the car up so i can check certain things. by the way i have a 93 civic HB CX./ any help would be a ppreciated

Check your master cylinder fluid level. If it's low, fill it up and see if the light goes away. Make sure to also check for leaks, especially in the rear wheel well (rear wheel cylinders going bad). Have you noticed a decrease in braking performance? Softness in the pedal?
If the fluid is fine, no leaks, and pedal feels ok, master cylinder cap probably needs to be replaced.

check the fluid level first off, and if it's good and you have no leaking seals see if the car will give you a light while idling and disconnect the master cylinder resevoir cap if it goes away you have a faulty cap.
