i have got a pair (free) of hids out of a nissan and i need help
1st will they melt my headlights they are 55k
2nd does anyone have them in a da

They won't melt your headlights. HID"s run cooler than regular bulbs.

Information about bulb style (h7, h3, 9006 etc). Once you have that figuered out you will have to find out how to mount that style of bulb into the housing of your car. If you can't then look into aftermarket alteeza kind of lights that fit that bulb style.

THEN... you're f@cked because they won't be HID compatible so you're going to throw light EVERYWHERE instead of in a concentrated beam like HID made housings do. To help with that I hope the bulbs are sheilded but if not, prepare to **** off every car comming your way.

its been done before and came out great..

the first pic is on a different car then the rest. he sanded the flutes down on the inside so it was clear and the cut off would be good, but as you can see from the other pics where the guy didnt sand the flutes down, the cut off is still great.

 

fawk i wanna know how to do that shiet to!!! but ive seen some one piece projector lights on ebay but its like chrome inside but ne ways will those work with HIDS? im not familiar really with how everything works haha

 

been there done it.. not to bad.. it just takes time a patience... and the right projectors...cant go to big.... (i didnt know pictures of my old ride was floating around)
