hey i got a gsr and i dont know witch intake manafold i shold get
hey thanks for looking at this, if u can help me out i don't know if im going turbo or all motor in the spring time and i really hate this double butterfly gsr intake manifold and i was wondering if the victor X are good for both all motor and turbo. or witch one would u recommend to pick up
but doesnt the edlebrock make power from 7500-10000rpms? or is that just on an all motor application?
you dont need one. It depends on your setup. IM dont do anything by themselves. you only need one if you want a particular intake or if you are gonna do cams and more indepth tuning.

like others have told you, NA and FI intake mani's are farely different... if you hate the dual butterflys so much, you can remove that section of your IM, just unbolt the 3 pieces and remove that section with the little butterflies in it, will take away low end torque, but will scream at high rpm's.... you wont really see much of a gain by doing this... but it is possible.... i did it on a gsr motor that i installed a turbo setup on....
seemed to help out over 4k rpms......

pretty much what everyone's been saying...
leave it stock unless you wanna go all out, or want a specific intake, such as j's racing whale *****.
you need the skunk2 IM to get that intake on, since it was originally made for an itr, and the s2 IM and the stock ITR IM are pretty much the same style.
but, i would definitely go with skunk2 if you're going na. if you don't have the money for that, get blox. almost completely identical build, just cheaper.
