here it is

i have took out the old antenna and when to put the new antenna in and for the life of me can not get the wire to go down the pillar. well i can get it most of the way down i can here it moving around but no clue on how to make it go down the rest of the way i have tryed a coat hanger pushing it down there it got further but then stops like feels like its hitting somthing and when i get under the dash to see if i could see the wire threw that hole nothing any suggestions.

thanks in advance

I used a heavy gage wire and ran it down first, then I used tape and taped the ant. wire to that.

its tricky... you can try twisting/spinning the antenna while you feed it down the pillar.

Also, mark off the length that it would take for the wire to reach the hole in the kick panel.. that way when you get it all the way to your mark, you can then reach your hand inside the car at the kick panel and grab it...

it will go, but it can be really frustrating..

He's right.

If you have cruise control, you'll have to remove that box and let it hang. (be sure to put it back when you're done)

Sorry you had to learn the hard way to tie a piece of string to the old ant before you pull it out. As far as getting it back in use a hanger or stiff wire feed it up the pillar and tape the new ant to it and pull it back out
