Well I just got back from my business trip to the NBAA (National Business Aircraft Association) Convention in Orlando. Think of it as the SEMA of the aircraft industry. Honda was there to display their new HondaJet, which they are now taking orders for. It's 10% faster than anything in it's class, 40% more fuel efficient and has more interior space than anything else, as well. The result of 20 years of research and development. Anyway, on with the pics...

There was a booth giving away a Bentley Continental GT.
I didn't have time to get pics of everything I wanted, but here are a few other pics from the show...

An Italian Jet maker had this Ferrari and a couple other Italian ladies on display.

That is pretty cool and all, but does it have VTEC? And where are the Rota's and Benen hooks?

It varies a bit depending on options (i.e. avionics, # of seats, etc.). They start at just under one million and go up to $3.5 million.
What colors do you think it is? Laguna Blue and Taffeta White?

Cool... But will it be able to compete with the big boys like Cessna, Lear, Grummen, and Bombardier? -- Interesting design... I would like to see some performance numbers : t/o performance....mtow, total usefull load.
On another note... pretty cool to see the VLJ market developing!

Laguna Blue is from the S2K and Tafetta is from the Accord/RSX/Civic I believe.

I think the HondaJet will be geared more towards the Private Jet market rather than the Business Jet market (i.e. Eclipse Aviation, B200, etc.). If you listen to the experts, we'll all be flying our VLJ's from one state to another landing in FBO's, then driving to work. We'll have to see about that...
