5ziegen is nice chiwawa...slightly bigger then stock (60mm accordong to IPS mike) and relatively quiet (according to the video that was here a few months ago). For the price, I guess it's a quality piece. I think I would rather have full stainless and 2.5in OD though (type1, sms), but you pay for what you get.

I have the HKS hi-power (hiper) exhaust on my DC and the 5zigen fireball on my EK.

The Hiper sounds deeper and louder than the Fireball. At around 3-4k rpm, it really drones and sometimes annoying.

The Fireball is quieter, but then again it really has this super uber nasty bottleneck on the Cat converter side, and the diameter of the piping is stupidly small through the resonators. I hear more engine ruckus, than exhaust noise in the EK....that might partly be from the turbocharged d16 though

Ive got a 5zigen fireball and I think it sounds real good. When you first put it on it will be fairly quiet but after a while I assume it "breaks in" and the sound is more prominent. Its a nice deep sound, and definitely bearable on the streets. I only have the axle back as I didnt see much to gain from the whole exhaust just yet.

N1. Or Spoon N1 if you don't appreciate the ability to hear.

My top 3 setup(not titanium):

-SPOON N1+stock/Vision/Type1 B pipe
-Type1 catback
-Buddy Club R.specIII

I was using fireball bolt on muffler on my civic. Now I changed to SPOON N1. The Fireball starts rusting out and screaming like crazy. It's pretty annoying so I sold it to someone cheap.

custom magnaflow is the best for cheap but quality performance or a high quality stainless steel exhaust, a custom magnaflow will give you the performance you want.

Anybody know the weights for any of these exhausts? Somebody must have this info compiled somewhere.

custom magnaflow is the best

I'd do this to save some $$ or go with the Buddy Club Spec II or III

N1 from Apex is pretty nice too.
