i wanted to make sure i was right about all the engine codes.. i know B16A is a civic vtec.. i need to know all the integra codes.. B18C5 is Type R i think.. h22a is a prelude right? B20 is CRV? help me out please!! im trying to figure out the best engine to put in my recently purchased civic with no working engine at the moment.. i have about 2,500 to spend just on engine so help me!

 

b16a2- USDM Civic SI
b16a3- USDM Del Sol DOHC Vtec
B18c1- USDM GSR
b18c5- USDM Type R
B20b/z- CRV
H22- Prelude Vtec

Somebody correct me if im wrong.
I know there was a b17 i thought went into the pre-94+ integra GSRs but im not postive. Can someone clear that one up

 

2500, you might be able to get a b16a3 setup, with high miles. But that's still way below average. Plan on spending $3500 for any decent swap. Or you could just sell your soul to ebay.

b18a is from an integra LS

and once you go jdm everything get confusing
no identifying letters.
e.g. b18c, could be b18c1 or b18c5.
