the module needs to be tested specifically via a machine and harness specific to the vehicle....this tests for all timing, spark, and fuel reltions the module controls. you can get this done for free at your local autozone if they have the correct harness.
the module IS NOT measured in resistance (ohms)....the only related part tested through ohms is the igntion module....which you can also do at aut0zone as the resistance needs to be within a tolerable range on both the primary and secondary ends. in short, take them to autozone and get them tested ....i manage an autozone so i know they will do it FREE

i did the test on the coil and it was good and then tested the ingiter module and it was good as well and im still not getting any spark and my fuel pump is not turning on, would the main relay for the fuel pump have anything to do with disabling the dizzy if possible or would i need to look for a short somewhere in between cause it died out when i hit the cruise control in my garage and ever since i cant get it to start...
