I tried to install a simple pnp HID kit into my car and as far as the directions go and everything is connected correctly, they do not work and I have no idea on where to start on finding the issue. I have a 95 lude and i am using the stock harness and plugged it in both ways in the harness and these bulbs just don't come on. I had this issue before and sent it back and they said it works just fine but sent me a new pair anyway and I still have the same issue with them so I don't know what to do. Please help

 

What kind of kit is it and it should be helpful if you posted pics of how you wired it in.

 

try hooking the ballast straight up to the battery, that will tell you if it works or not. and I would recommend running a relay harnes not of your stock harness. That way you know you are getting clean power straight from the source. That way you don't fry your stock harness

 

Well, the stock harness works because when I ran out of time and needed that headlight I put the old bulb back in and it still works like a charm.

 

well stock harness' work bu HID's require jmore wattage than those harness' were designed to provide.

 

is this just bulbs???? or bulbs and ballasts?
