Default Difference between JDM ITR 96-98 and 99-00 tranny?

I know that the difference between them is the final drive, which is 4.4 and 4.7. But how does this translate to on real life driving? Any takers?...thanks

actually 4th and 5th gear are different as well.

1-2-3 are the same so with the 4.785 you will have even greater torque multiplication.
4th and 5th are a little taller so they will rev lower in those 2 gears making it 'seem' like the gearing isn't too radical on the highway.
