mandrel bends have the same diamiter all the way through, where crush bends are actually crushed a little when they bend it, making your 2.5 pipe more like 2.25 pipe. you can buy the bends yourself from JC whitney or summit.

 

for piping...from the cat back and if its crush-bent, you should pay no more than $100 with a new resonator installed..That's how it is in So. Cal..but like integrated said..you can just buy the mandrel bends from JC Whitney and have someone weld everything together..giving you a full cat-back mandrel bent system..everything should cost around 100 with new flanges, hangers, etc...
