looking for a strong ring and pinion
Seems as if Circuit Worx no longer produces them, and dont have any 4.4 hydros in stock, so pretty much told me to buy an evo LOL
Anybody know who may have a few left in stock? or any other manufactures making them?
Thanks

Why not have Steve heat treat your gears? He did mine and I have had no problems. Also it is a lot cheaper to get them treated then to go and buy a CW plus you would be supporting a racer and most likely fixing your problem.
Wow thats sucks. You can find one somewhere. If not step it up one notch and get an even stronger liberty gears ring and pinion. I believe its straight cut as well. I think there $900.

i talked to jeromie the other day about this and he said that liberty will most likely be offering ring and pinions due to the fact that circuit worx wasnt offering them anymore. The pieces that they offer now are for use with the gear set.
thanks for the info..... wasnt there a couple other companies making them for the road race guys? i forgot the names, and i think ATS only make 4.7's and 4.9's i may be wrong though
dont expletive with any of them, before our sport comp car got stolen we broke 2 ats 4.9's and 1 of the infinitude "super strong" ring and pinions also.
buy a liberty 4 speed and call it a day

There is my thread about tranny stuff. RacerStev treated my gear set and have been really happy with the results thus far.

So far so good on the heat treating, I havn't lost a gear set yet. But if this proves
to be not strong enough there's another process I can add that should really make
them strong, it will double the cost's though....
So who's gonna be first to break a set LOL

Even if it doubles the cost it is still alot cheaper then buying a liberty gear set or buying a CW R&P
