WTF did I do to my distributor???
well, some of you(the ones who know me) know that I have been having distributor problems. So my dad orders me a new one, and it gets here today(i had been throwing a code 8, TDC sensor).
I take my old one out, and look at what I found...

and the new one for reference...

The freaking shaft was bent!! anyone ever seen this? Here is the story of what happened, driving to school one day, and I get on the interstate. Car is running like ***, the tach is bouncing up and down. Get to school, car dies in the middle of an intersection, luckilly I roll in to the parking lot safely. Crank the car, nada! Pop the hood, and my distributor had fallen off. I am like damn!! Only 1 bolt remained in the hole. So I bolt the dizzy back up, and go back home.
Run a code 8, TDC sensor...
and I do my research, to find out that I just need to replace the dizzy. So I call up my dad, and he gets me one pretty cheap. Then thats when I pulled it and found my discovery. Tell me what you think.

Looks like when it fell of it bent it, or maybe it wasnt on right to begin with causing the damage. Had you ever or had anyone remove the distributor before?

It looks like as your dizzy worked loose & came out far enough to not be fully engaged in the end of your cam that it probably got beat up a little bit as the cam rotated around & the dizzy finally came loose.
I'd guess your dizzy bolts weren't tight enough
