Default Blades

I have a set of GSR blades that I want to color bronze or gold or something besides silver. annnyway, there's a guy at my dad's work who can powder coat them for ~50 bucks per wheel or I could paint them myself, for much cheaper. what is a better choice, as I have no experience with powder coating.

Powder is way more durable, and you have a huge color selection.

$50 sounds very good, just get them professionally done, then you wont have to worry about your spray job chipping and such

maybe, but i have seen shops want $80 a wheel as well, it all depends where you live/availability, I think $50 is very reasonable

It's his car so who cares if you don't like it?

To the OP: I say have them powdercoated vs you spraying them. They will look better, and last longer.

Powdercoat them. They will look like ***** in a couple months if you spray them with krylon.

Bronze would look nice, BUT gunmetal would look better...depending on what color car you drive....

BUT defently go for the powercoat..will last a lot longer, than if you painted them yourself..sow pics once you've done it...

bronze looks hella dope on a red car! but definitely powder coat them... or if you feel like being cheap, then spray them yourself... and if worse comes to worst, take it to the shop to get them done.

but all in all, get it done right the first time and just powder coat them... $50 is pretty good... shops in SD run for about the same price.
