i have an obd0 b16a with a pr3 ecu. timing is dead on it has great spark and it is getting plenty of fuel. the dizzy is new and ive got brand new plugs compression is up as well. i have a harable miss and cant figure out the problem

 

are your plug wires are in the correct order and attached firmly to the distributor as well as the sprk plugs?

and is your spark plug gap set corectly?

 

yea there all right and the gap is correct as well

 

how long has it been like this? any CEL's? more info will only help us help you

 

could it be a vacuum leak?

 

i checked and rechecked the vacume lines and i just droped the motor in about a week ago and havent driven it yet due to this problem

 

Double check for any fault codes, I got the same setup. JDM B16 odb0 with a chipped PW0, i had the CPS code didn't do anything to it until it took a dump on me on the freeway. The car was running but lose lots of power, it was my dist. due to the bad crankshaft position sensor. Switched out new distr. everything was good afterwords.

 

im not showing any codes. ive been over the entire wirenig harness and i have replaced just about every sencer i can think of and i cant find any problems. i finally pulled the head to check the valves and there all good as well.

 

try grounds, sand paper them. also check the water inlet housing theres a groung on there also

 

i checked the grounds and the car fired on the first crank but wont stay running on its own
