DASHBOARD LIGHTS??? Please HELP!?
I'm not sure why, but after I installed an aftermarket radio into my 2002 Accord V6, the dashboard lights no longer work. When the headlights are set to OFF, the odometer and time light up. When I put the headlights ON, the odometer and the time cut off, and none of my gauges light up. I have NO idea what the problem is. The SRS light has also been on ever since. Is there ANYTHING I can do? I've been asking around forever and I hate not being able to see how fast I'm going and how much gas I have and what gear I'm in at night.
EDIT - I've checked EVERY FUSE numerous times.
PLEASE HELP. Please.
Thanks.

dude that sucks. i'm actually having the same problem, except in reverse. my dash lights work fine when I turn the headlights from off to on. However, once I turn the ignition, the dash lights automatically come on, then shut off as I turn the headlights from off to on ... i know my post didnt help, so gl with your problem
the dimmer wire? where would that be located? I didn't touch anything other than the radio wire harness and whatever is necessary to remove the radio. I was no where NEAR anything that had to do with the dashboard. Maybe its a coincidence and something ELSE is wrong????
THe dimmer wire is part of the radio harness. With that connected, when you turn on your lights, the lights on the radio are supposed to dim (that's what the wire is for).
