Well sometimes when I start my car up it wont turn over. Ill try it a couple of times and it will finally start up. I cleaned my grounds, i have a new starter, and i hear the fuel pump priming. anyone have any suggestions to why its doing this?

 

clogged fuel filter?

 

na i dont think thats it bc i just replaced that like 2 months ago. could it be clog fuel injectors maybe?

 

I think its the clutch interlock swith. the one right above the clutch pedal. bc itll start after pumping the clutch. I just cant locate the switch and im not quite sure what to look for. I know its on top but i dont see anything that looks like a switch.

 

It won't crank right? If so, it sounds like the starter since the fuel pump is priming.

 

look up under the clutch. at the top there is a whitish plastic round cylinder. that pushes on the switch when the clutch is not pressed. so in the relaxed position the switch is pressed. the switch will face towards the engine bay.

 

Well I just replaced the starter not to long ago with a new one. not a rebuilt. so you think it mite be that?
