Con: it adds $1,000 to the price tag, and to me, doesn't do a grands worth of good.

If can drive well. I see no point in getting it.

Helps if your driving skills are not good. Allows your not to spin out as easily.

didn't know you are the worlds best driver. you can not do what VSA does manually. it's physically impossible.

That may be true, but VSA only does minute little adjustments to help prevent loss of control. The point is, don't do things that will cause you to lose control in the first place, and you will never need it.

*remembers passing a SRT-4 last night, and the moron drove on the shoulder to pass me back* wtf...

Exactly. Many situations are caused by the driver. Environment around the driver can change in a split second, but the driver should always try to be in the best situation possible. Such as: Which lane do I pick? How fast do I go? When do I need to break if someone is in front of me? How far am I away from other cars?

You would think Honda would have done that before they made it a part of most every model and the goverment make it mandatory on all models a few years from now.

I think Honda looked at all the kids posting, "y0 I recked my nu sI!!!!! Picks!!!!!" and decided to make something standard on the car to save peoples lives.

VSA = Vehicle Stability Assist (it is NOT traction control as I believe you unstand "traction control"/front wheel slipping or spinning).

I t has more to do with "spinning" the car as a whole (as in helping you to keep from doing a "180" or 360 during lateral vehicle movements), such as quick lane changes, etc.

Just thought i'd revive this.
I got to test my VSA today for the first time in the snow, only about an inch of snow, but all i can say is WOW!. I turned it off and its like night and day.You have so much more control of the vehicle when it is turned on..I punched 1st and 2nd gear and the VSA kicked in tires slightly spinning but still pulling forward and controllable...Definitly worth the grand.

VSA

wish i had it. probably would have prevented my accident.

do 07's with the VSA seem to be getting a little worse gas mileage? i realize many times it's been said that it has nothing to do with it....
