specR 11 inch rotors
hey if anyone has these rotors... can u get to me on whether or not u can use the stock calipers, if not what did u go with? n isit worth the purchase?
I doubt you'll be able to use your stock calipers.
try http://www.fastbrakes.com they have the ITR 11" front brake conversion with calipers, pads, rotors, and modded caliper brackets for $530, or the full front/rear conversion kit for $835.

No you cannot.
i just recently switched to ITR calipers and rotors in the front.
The reason you cannot use the stock calipers is that they are too small and the bracket does not move the caliper out far enough. Also the stock pad is smaller.
If you want an inexpensive route. DO NOT do Fastbrakes. get a set of Legend calipers. not the twin pot. But the single pot. they are the exact same caliper and bracket as the ITR. or Accord wagon. they are the same too. My friend on team integra, Dying Wish, gets them really cheap. like under 100 bucks for a pair.
The rotors you will need to get either prelude or ITR. or you could spend 90 bucks like my friend at Fast brakes to get them pre drilled. You will need to redrill a set of rotors regardless. if you dont. But if you have a place that can do it cheap then ITR rotors are only like 21 bucks each at Autozone for duralast rotors.
I paid $125 for my ITR calipers and brackets. they were nearly brand new.
here is a write up on my install

thinking about getting the same setup, $530 is not that bad, if everything is new. You probably can get for a less price, but I am tired of getting used parts, expletive that.
but then again money is money!

It jsut takes a little TLC. my friend got a used set of Legend calipers. and wirebrushed them with a drill. came up pretty nice. slap on a coat of caliper paint. Prolly black or gold. and they will look jsut fine.

Please use the 92-96 Prelude VTEC rotors with the 4x114.3mm pattern and redrill to the 4x100mm pattern. 5x114.3mm patters cannot be redrilled without overlapping holes. Also, the 92-96 Prelude VTEC front rotors have the correct 64mm center bore. A 70 mm center bore like on Solscud007's setup can lead to problems with centering the rotor.
