I need FBP paint & how to paint a front lip
I already asked this in the appearance forum, but nobody seems to know, so here goes.
I am going to paint my side skirts and SiR front lip FBP.
I was wondering where I could get some of this paint, preferably in a spray can.
I looked at dupli-color, they have almost every other honda color besides FBP
Can anyone help me, and if you had an idea of about how much I would need and approx. cost that would be helpful.
Also, what steps should I take when painting my front lip to avoid "orange peel" like what sandpaper should I use etc.
Thanks!!!!

Go to http://www.paintscratch.com and get the paint code that you need. Then go to http://www.towerpaint.com and order that paint in the 16oz spray can. They have all the stock colors there in a one stage paint (meaning that the clear coat is already added). I ordered mine about a week ago and am waiting to recieve it soon.
As for preping the lip and sides.... well, I've heard with urethane pieces it is best to use some sort of flexible primer or adhesive. I'm not really positive about that. What I would do before painting it would be to wet sand it with a 320 grit first then follow up by wet sanding it with a 1000 grit and then maybe a 2000 grit to finish it off. Hopefully this will help you out.
