I'm using CTR cams in my motor. I know they have to be better than using B16A cams.

Im using itr's on my gsr. Nice fat power curve all the way to my 8500 redline. I never dynoed with my gsr cams, so I dont know the difference.

with boost, the bigger the CAM, the more power you will make.. just make sure if you go big cam, go stock size valve... skunk2 stage 3 NA cams here.. 740whp

I was trying to swap my N/A Skunk2 stg 2's for standard ITR/CTR cams as I'm going boost now.

So your saying I'll be ok using them?

Anything else I need to consider when using them?

I got a ? for you adSpeed. We're in the process of building a 2020 ls/vtec fully built obviously with a Shearer fab divided t4 manifold and a gt42 and we were def looking into getting cams. The thing is that itr/ctr cams are so F*(&&% expensive that I'd rather buy aftermarket cuz they're cheaper!! I was looking at either skunk 2 or comps cams for this setup. Whats your opinion on that?
Thanks
Ryan

I am also interested in the benifit of ctr intake cam with gsr exhaust. I am currently making 275whp now on 7psi on my jdm gsr stock motor.

I want to do:
ctr intake cam
blox intake manifold
cam gear tuning
maybe up the boost to 10

I know some of this is off topic, i just want to know about the cam if possible, Thanks!

i was wondering if the gsr exhaust with the itr intake would hold boost better. kind of like trapping it in the combustion chamber for just a little longer than the intake cam? any ideas? whatever is going to make the most power obviouly.

like i said before, gsr, itr, ctr cam will be alot easier to tune because itll make your power band alot more linear.. big cams are thirsty, little more dificult to tune, but you can also play with the overlap and as far as a big cam id say go with a skunk2 stage 2s for boost, and just dont run oversized valves with it... big displacement, stock size valve, make sure you measure your ptv clearance also with the big cam... but as far as a race car, and alot of power at a low boost level, RUN BIG CAMS.. SKUNK2

Not to thread jack but I have a 95 integra gsr with 57trim t3/t4 turbo set at 7psi on a stock block. Would i benefit if i just bought an ITR intake camshaft and just dropped it in?

do not waste your money on a blox intake manifold, if your gonna get a im get victor x, or something bigger.. dont do skunk2 or blox, , dont wory about cam gear tuning unless you go big cams, up the boost to 10 ish youll be 300 plus easily depending on what turbo your gonna run.. gl
