Does anybody make a performance transmission synchro for a 1993 Prelude VTEC. It's turbo, and I don't want to have to change the synchro out after I rebuild the transmission.

synchros wear because of bad shifting techniques. not because of power going through the trans.

 

prelude syncro's are notorious for going bad, i had to replace ALL of mine

 

Very true , when I first got my car brand new, 3 months later 5th gear synchro was messed up sent it back and dealership fixed, but they are known for going bad. Currently my 3rd gear synchro is messed up in high rpms. Tried to buy another one and most of the ads said the same thing "3rd gear grinds at high rpm".

 

How hard is it to change all the synchros in the M2F5 tranny?
