is it necessary when changing fuel filter???please help
I was reading an article from Team Integra...on the DIY fuel filter replace there something in there I was unsure of...I was wondering is it necessary to disconnect the fuel line before replace the filter....Cause in some cases I heard people say just remove the fuel cap and let the air out....what do you guy thinks.....Or anyone has a better way and efficient way to replace the fuel filter please post it up ....thx...
Just think about this: How can you replace the fuel filter w/o disconnecting the line? All i do is disconnect both lines and throw the ****** in the trash.
I've done it both ways, and noticed that when I opened the gas cap, I made less of a mess in the engine bay...Less pressure is with in the lines, when you do this the same when changing a fuel pump! It's worth a try and it will only take 5 seconds of your life...hahahaha!
Remove the cap FTW!

When I swapped my fuel filter, when I turned the old one upside down, the nastiest liquid black crap came out of it. I am so glad that I swapped it. Imagine that crap running thru your engine. Many people forget this simple maintenance item.
