Default Dyno (GSR) USDM P72 vs JDM P72 vs Mugen program

my setup: JDM B18C (GSR) - stock internals, mods as follows:
RSR Exmag GT Exhaust, JDM 4-1 header with JDM ITR cat, ITR Intake cam, K&N cone filter, no tuning just baseline (no cam gears)
basically 174 whp and 123lb/ft torque (to the wheels)

Mugen program was running open secondaries at all the times (and didn't loose a hp or torque)

not shown was XS Eng. program which made 2-4wHP and torque more then stock USDM P72 between 4800-7500rpm but compared exactly to stock in the rest of the curve USDM P72

if you set the vtec earlier on the mugen you'd pick up that lost midrange

why is there a drop in the power curve for the JDM and USDM at 4400rpm vtec engagement point?

thanks, but next time I'll bring all my tools and parts when I go to dyno, so I can do the changes on the fly

no idea, why there is a drop, but what I can that it feels like **** when when it happens its possibly becuase the low vtec and more aggressive ITR cam don't mix (we know that) also having no cam gears or VAFC I cannot play with the curve to possibly fix the problem but no worries Skunk2 intake will be on its way and possibly slap on a test pipe
