91 Accord fuel pump service life?
I wonder how long they last. I have about 300k miles on the car.
New timing belts, ignition coil, rod bearings, water pump and front seals.
I wonder what will go out first. Thanks.

Really? They don't go bad very frequently, ahh, sighhhh, relief!
I told my daughter not to drive it over 100 miles from home because of old fuel pump.
It's a manual and pure stock. It's my daugter's daily drive to high school.
A friend gave it to her with a broken timing belt at 270k miles.
I pulled the head, had it rebuilt for $200, changed the belts and seals.
Replaced the rod bearings, crank was in good shape at 270k. I was amazed.
Cleaned the bores with scrub pads and still has original hone.
Replaced the rings and put back together and now has 300k miles and has been running since.
Stalled once during the hot summer, pulled the main relay and resoldered joints.
It has been starting fine ever since. I'll see if I can post a pic later.
Thanks for the reply Ross (ex Moogocow3). Great site and help!
